Overwhelming response =)

Dear BLESSED peeps,

I am really really happy due to the overwhelming response from local performers and also public on our acoustic event.

More and more bands and performers will be joining Blessed Society to make this society becomes even merrier.

We are also looking for more people to join us because we are going to organise and art event soon.

The event will be showcasing works from the local and international musicians, music producers, short film directors, electronic dance music (EDM) producers, experimentalist, writers, painters, muralist, graffiti artist, cartoonist, graphic and indipendant t-shirt designers, and anything that is ART related.

Art is interesting.

Art teaches us to be positive.

Art teaches us to believe.

Art connects us to our unconscious side.

Art is in everyone of us.

Art is life.

Art is a blessing.

Due to the overwhelming response on our last acoustic nights, this Saturday we are coming back again to Bangi Kopitiam Wangsa Maju Seksyen 5 (Wangsa Walk Mall Seksyen 5) and we will be featuring Ezra & Brandon. (clap, clap,clap)

So plan your weekend ahead and this is a live acoustic jazz performance that is not to be miss after that stressfull and hectic weekdays of working.

No cover charge, but just bring extra cash to order extra food and drinks in case u might need to stay through out the whole show.

Finally Mono & Space Gambus Experiment (SGE) collaborates

After have not been contacting each other for almost a year, finally Mono @ Ndroid and SGE lead by Kamal Sabran (www.kamalsabran.blogspot.com) finally decided to collaborate on a project soon.

What a great year ahead for both great musicians.

Hope that they will come out with something that are different. Something with international sound with local Malaysian flavour to it.

How's your Sunday treating you guys?

Well, i was so busy with my music productions and my EP will be released soon. It will be released by my first international label, Bikini Records(www.bikinirecords.de) based in Germany.

By the way, I've been contacting kid dub (www.kiddub.com) personally and ive also manage to contact Alex Kenji's (www.myspace.com/kenjialex) manager. We are working together with few sponsors to get them in and at this moment, its a matter of venue to confirm on dates.

We will keep you guys posted with more updates on their show in KL from time to time.

But one thing is for sure, they'll be rocking KL soon!!!!!

i just can't wait.

Eventhough the live show was delayed 15 minutes due to technical problem, but overall it was another successful event for BLESSED SOCIETY but this time its a no no digital and bleep bleep electronic sound. Big kudos to Ezra (Vocal) of Cyberjaya, Lim Kok Wing & Brandon (Guitar) for their beautiful acoustic sound, everyone including the staff at Bangi Kopitiam really enjoyed the whole 2 sets of live performance. BLESSED SOCIETY- Art Of Noise, 12 March 2010 - Featuring Ndroid@MONO, Yamese & Fliko at Studio, Cyberjaya - Successful and Awesome

After the first successful night of Projek tengah Malam, yesterday was even successful and the respond was much more overwhelming.

The party starts off with deep warm techy groove by Lim Kok Wing's homegrown and hottest exports, Fliko.

Ndroid@Mono then took over the console and start to build up the groove with some old skool techno and maintain the mood with some tribal percussive sound as the mission is to maintain and to locked the crowd on the dance floor.

As the mission works, Yamese then came in and took over the deck with his signature electrifying electro with clashy sound and got the crowd to went wild. Fliko then again took charge to be the 'captain' of Studio and continue the journey of the night before Ndroid and Yamese took turn and ends the night with some old skool rock.

Overall everyone went home happy with no regrets eventhough some of them had to drove more than 30km's just to reach Cyber Jaya.

We are proud to announce that starting from Saturday, 13th March 2010, Blessed Society and Bangi Kopitiam, Wangsa Maju ,Seksyen 5, Kuala Lumpur branch will be organizing Acoustic Nights presenting local performers/bands.

Great Music and No cover charge - it is open to public. What you need to do is just drive to Wangsa Maju Seksyen 5, (Near Wangsa Maju walk Mall) dine in and enjoy the acoustic sound by the performers.

Malaysian singing quartet, Innuendo and Ana Rafali are among artists that has been performing there for the previous acoustic nights.

The story about this Blessed Society...

BLESSED SOCIETY is a group consists of creative, motivated, talented, ambitious and young people that share the same interest and passion towards music, art and fashion. "Love what you do and do what you love" will always be the motto for this label.

Most of its members are highly experienced especially in the event consultancy and entertainment industry. The goal is to be recognized not only as a small label but also as an establish and in demand organization for local and international event and entertainment industry in few years to come.

Being a new label in the local event and entertainment industry is the first step before they could reach out to their goals. On the other hand, doing promotion, advertising, organizing events and club nights regularly with providing local artists bookings services are the next step to be recognize, gain more experience, exposure and to build strong business contacts.

Along the way even when Blessed Society wasn't born, it has already gain its strong based followers - regardless of youngsters and more mature crowd, through some of its members that are familiar faces and well known to Malaysian entertainment circuit.
